Our soils are mostly composed by Galestro, with some clayey areas, particularly rocky and draining, perfect for the production of red wines. The power point is the continuity and extension of the galestro areas, the dominant element of our territory.
Since 1995 when the new vineyards were replanted, the land has been studied, as to be able to select the right cultivation techniques.
The vineyard area today count around 10 hectares with the majority of Sangiovese grapes, but also a part of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Petit Verdaux and some ancient and native clones of Sangiovese, Malvasia bianca, Canaiolo and Trebbiano with which we produce our wine Ultimo Canto.
The exposure is between south-west and south-east, the farming is Guyot and a small part is spurred cordon.
